1. How has Digital Marketing changed over the years?

Digital Marketing has changed drastically, no doubt. If we don't keep up, then we will be thrown off. Areas, where we could see the changes up front, are Marketing Tools and strategies, Social Media Importance, Investment in Digital Marketing and so on.

2. What skill sets do people need to possess to be able to sustain market fluctuations?

More active in learning and upgrading, getting connected with public communities - these are the two major things required to sustain and to compete in this competitive digital world.

3. What are some of your most trusted SEO best practices?

  • Keen market study and analysis
  • Targetting low competition Keywords
  • Flawless OnPage SEO
  • Quality Content making and marketing
  • Natural backlinks on high authority blogs/sites
  • Infographics

4. As a digital marketer, what are some of the most vital blunders that you suggest should be avoided?

  • Action without proper plan
  • Attempting new tactics without analysis
  • Not having better quality and focused content
  • Not understanding your audience
  • For any new attempt, Wait for the results, don't urge
These are the mistakes which we should not encourage as a digital player.

5. In the next 5 years, where do you see the scenario with respect to digital marketing?

Critical Question! Tough to predict. However, my insight says the total Digital Marketing era will be restructured totally and will have a new face.

6. What tools would you suggest as some of the most essential ones for handling the digital marketing process?

Ahrefs, SemRush, KWFinder, Grammarly, Ninja Outreach - these are few tools I am using to handle my digital marketing tasks. Hope, these are recommended tools for all.

7. For someone in the digital media marketing, what best practices would you suggest for media planning and buying?

Most common practice – It is mandatory to have both Media Planning and Buying together. It is not clever to skip one or another. Jumping directly to Media buying without an effective planning would not give much better results. Meanwhile, Media Planning with no appropriate buying also does not lead to optimal business promotions.

8. What are your opinions about hyper-personalisation? Would you say it works out in most cases?

Hyper-personalisation is one-step further in using real-time data like browsing behaviors of the visitors. Of course, this will work out in an extreme range, even futuristic. Only thing, we have to start thinking is how to use these hyper-personalized data for further contact with our audience or customers.

9. How to plan out a customer journey that not only retains existing customers, but also drives new customers as well?

Try to give out your best to the existing customers, this will drive referrals. Obviously, brings new customers. Very strategic. Brings traffic monotonously.

10. How far has social media been effective in the digital journey and what opportunities does it hold for the future?

Social Media plays such a greater role in the digital marketing sphere. Each social media platform has its unique characteristics and it's own specific audience categories. Analyse and deploy using it in the right way.

11. While creating buyer personas, what are the most vital points that one needs to keep in mind?

  • Profile of your Ideal Buyers
  • Buyer need or What drives them to buy
  • Making sure that buyers will be happy after buying

12. According to you, what determines the reach of the content among the audience?

  • Unique or most-wanted topics
  • Exact Title which reflects the content of the page
  • Content quality of our previous posts
These three majorly drives visitors to the blog post.

13. If you could advise one thing about online advertising, what would it be?

Don't create fake impressions making attractive ads. Always try to build trust among audience.

14. What is your take on influencer marketing?

Valuable followers are my all-time worthy assets, which I had through Influencer marketing.

15. How far has the evolution of digital marketing taken you as a digital marketer?

Digital Marketing adds credibility to my career as a digital marketer. Its evolution brings me to the height, which I would have imagined at the start.
